Aliens, unidentified flying object (UFO) and military are some of the most talked about conspiracies in the world. What if told you about a military base in Nevada commonly known as “area 51” which is used for working/developing air crafts for the United States, has some people questioning whether we are the only living things in our universe (Area 51 and aliens: the myth, the meme, and the strange reality, explained). Area 51 is a military base that is heavily focused on making special aircrafts like the u-2 spy plane. In 1989, Bob Lazar publicly stated in an interview that he was reverse engineering unidentified flying objects (UFO) caught by the United States government, which was one of the main reasons, why area 51 is famously known for aliens (Bob Lazar, UFO Hoaxster HowStuffWorks). Is Bob Lazar telling the truth about what he claims to have seen or is it just a hoax? Bob Lazar has claimed to have reverse engineered extraterrestrial aircrafts for the United States military, which he says is true, but his background does not correspond with his statement (Bob Lazar, UFO Hoaxster HowStuffWorks).
Bob Lazar was doubtful. People had a tough time believing him since he lied about his education. Bob claimed to have gone to MIT, Caltech, California State University at Northridge, and Pierce Junior College. Physicist Stanton Friedman researched Bob Lazar’s educational background that he claimed to have gone to, out of the 4 colleges only pierce junior college claimed to have had Lazar as one of their students and had taken electronic courses in the 1970’s:
Question:
Bob, could you tell us about your education? I’ve heard a lot of conflicting things; I’d like to hear from you.
Lazar:
That varies widely. As far as electronic technology, my degree there is from CalTech and physics is from MIT.
Question:
Did you go to Pierce College?
Lazar:
Yeah, I did. Where did you hear that?
Question:
A friend that said something, somebody I don’t even know. I just thought, it’s something I want to ask, to clear my mind.
Lazar:
Yeah, I went to Pierce and Northridge and then…I’m terrible at dates. I don’t know what date I was at Pierce, probably like in seventy-six or something, I was at Pierce and then seventy-seven or eight I went to Northridge just for a short time for some classes, then I was at CalTech, and MIT after that. Bob Lazar is not trustworthy. He claims to have gone to college at MIT, Pierce College, and many other top academic colleges, which helped him get a job at Area 51 where he got to work on reverse engineering UFO's (unidentified flying objects). He also worked on the propulsion system for these extraterrestrial crafts, which he claims that the government sent him to MIT just to learn about the propulsion system to get a better insight on how it worked. He got too comfortable at his job where he would go on and invite his friends to a spot only Bob knew, a spot where you could see the UFO's (extraterrestrial flying objects) being flown and tested which he would take his friends there for a couple weekends and got fired after that. and He would go on and do a public interview on KLAS-TV's “About a year after his initial TV interview, Lazar found himself criminally charged for helping operate what prosecutors described as an illegal “high-tech whore house”(Meek 1). That did not help his credibility much.
Lazar was a mysterious person. He claimed to be a man named "Dennis"; since his claim seemed something out of a sci-fi movie, people discovered that "Dennis" was Bob Lazar. Bob was fired from area 51 which caused an outrage in Bob, he would go on KLAS-TV's 5 p.m. newscast as "Dennis" to protect his identity and made claims that were bizarre to us humans. Famous physicist Stanton Friedman, one of the most recognized people when it comes to UFO’s (unidentified flying objects) says “Nobody there remembers Bob, and Bob could not recall the name or surname of ANY of his lecturers” (“Debunking UFO...” 1). They learned that Bob in fact was a worker at Area 51, people were getting more convinced by his bizarre claims. Even later to this day people are still getting more convinced on Bob's claims are proven right. For example, a element Bob says to have called element 115 was to power most of these UFO's (unidentified flying objects) was later discovered in Dubna, Russia. The element was different but had similar features from Bob's element 115. This was all a coincidence, and he was lying the whole time or is the government trying to cover up a big technological find.
The other schools said they have never heard of or seen Lazar, so could that mean he was lying about the claims he has made in public interviews too or are the schools deleting his records so the so the government can make him look foolish on tv. The most likely scenario is that Area 51 is hiding stuff from us, including documentations of Bob Lazar we cannot see. The world is a mysterious place; people may never know what lies outside of this planet. Bob Lazar might have been the person that finally proved the world right that there is more life than just us in this universe. Could everything Bob said be a lie all along or is this all a government cover up and making Bob look like a foolish person and there are extraterrestrial beings visiting our planet?
